"Freedom is never dear at any price. It is the breath of life. What would a man not pay for living?" State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt. celebrated 75th Independence Day with full zeal and zest and this time with physical presence of the students. The celebration commenced with flag hoisting followed by numerous performances including patriotic songs, dances and so on. Students enthusiastically took part and their performances were worth watching. Kindergarten kids also showcased their patriotic emotions by dressing themselves into tricolor themed attire. They also perfomed on patriotic song and recited patriotic poems and illustrated their love for the nation. They carried tricoloured food items in their tiffin to make the day more special. Investiture Ceremony was also conducted where the President, Prime Minister, Head Girl, Head Boy, Vice-Head Girl, Vice-Head Boy and other badge holders were embraced with the badges and responsibilities. Sahil of 12th Non medical was chosen as President while Vanshika became Prime Minister of the school parliament. The celebration concluded with the National Anthem. President Sir, Vice-President ma'am of Group Of State Public Schools Dr. Narotam Singh and Gagandeep Kaur along with Principal Mrs. Savina Bahl, present in celebration wished all on Independence Day and appreciated the efforts done by the participants to make the celebration special.
